Run your Koongo account by chatting with your AI assistant

Koongo MCP lets you manage your Koongo account by chatting with an AI assistant instead of clicking through screens. Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or another AI assistant to Koongo, and you can create marketplace integrations, build product feeds, map attributes, and sync orders just by describing what you want.

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets an AI assistant connect to and act on an external service - in this case, your Koongo account - instead of you copying information back and forth by hand. Once connected, your assistant talks to Koongo directly and reports back what it did.

Koongo MCP works with the same project you already use to reach 500+ sales channels. During the beta, it's available to accounts on Koongo's new pricing plans - tools and behaviour may still change as we improve it. Still on legacy pricing? Switch to the new plans to get access.

What you can do by chatting with your assistant

You say something like...Your assistant...
"Add an Amazon marketplace integration and don't activate anything until I say so."Walks the setup wizard with you step by step, then hands you a link for the one step you complete yourself - logging in to connect your channel account.
"Map my colours to Google's colour list."Fills in required channel fields from your store data, a fixed value, or a rule, and matches your product colours to the channel's own list.
"Which of my categories aren't mapped yet for this feed?"Finds the gaps, proposes a matching category on the channel, and saves the mapping once you confirm.
"Create a Google Shopping feed, map the required attributes, then check it for errors."Picks a feed template, maps the attributes, exports the file, and verifies it before you submit it to the channel.
"Work out a clean colour for each product from its title and description."Derives missing values - colour, gender, material - per product and saves them as a new attribute you can map or filter on (requires the Additional Sources add-on).
"Turn on order sync for Amazon and start syncing."Enables order sync, walks you through the order settings, and starts pulling orders into your store automatically or on demand.
"Show me my order overview."Reports order volume, failures, and connection status across every channel - without exposing any customer personal data.

Built into every connection: control and safety

You choose the access level.

Every connection is Full (read and make changes) or Read-only (list, preview, and verify only - every write is refused). Set it per connection, and change it any time without reconnecting.

Live-channel activation is a deliberate step.

Finishing an integration's Summary step activates it, and in AUTO product mode that publishes every matching product to the live channel. The assistant will suggest setting MANUAL mode first, publishing one product as a dry run, and only then releasing the rest.

You always complete the login yourself.

For any marketplace or ad connection, the assistant hands you a link to the authorisation or settings page - it never enters your channel credentials.

Report an issue straight from the chat.

Say "report this to the Koongo developers as a bug" and the assistant files one report with a report ID - passwords, tokens, and personal data are stripped out automatically.

Connect your assistant

Sign in with OAuth (a browser login - recommended for everyday use) or a static token (better for headless setups and automation). Both connect to the same account.

Listed where your AI assistant already looks

Koongo's MCP server is listed in the official Model Context Protocol Registry and available through Smithery, Glama, the Gemini CLI extensions gallery, and the Cursor directory. It's also included automatically in the VS Code and GitHub Copilot MCP server gallery, since that gallery reads from the official registry.

FAQs

Koongo MCP is a connection that lets an AI assistant - like Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini - manage your Koongo account on your behalf when you chat with it. Instead of clicking through the Koongo interface, you describe what you want, and the assistant creates integrations, maps attributes, builds feeds, and checks on orders for you.
Claude (Claude Code, Claude Desktop, and claude.ai), Cursor, Gemini CLI, and ChatGPT connectors all connect directly. Koongo's MCP server is also listed in the official Model Context Protocol Registry and available for Claude, Cursor, and Gemini CLI, among others, and any other MCP-compatible client can connect through a lightweight bridge.
During the beta, it's available at no extra cost to accounts on Koongo's new pricing plans. If you're still on legacy pricing, switching to the new plans unlocks it - see the Koongo pricing page.
No. You can use it by writing plain sentences - the same way you'd write an email. Koongo's help center gives you ready-made sentences to copy, paste, and adapt for each task.
It can, if you leave a new integration in AUTO product mode and finish its Summary step - that activates it and publishes every matching product. To test safely, ask the assistant to set MANUAL mode first and publish a single product before releasing the rest.
Full access lets the assistant read your data and make changes - creating feeds, configuring marketplaces, mapping attributes, and exporting or submitting to channels. Read-only access lets it list, preview, and verify only; every write action is refused. You can set the level per connection and change it at any time.
Channel logins are always completed by you in your browser - the assistant never enters or stores your credentials. Order data shown in chat excludes customer personal information, and any bug report the assistant files strips out passwords, tokens, and personal data automatically.
Yes. During the beta it's available to accounts on Koongo's new pricing plans - tools and behaviour may still change as it develops.
